E-commerce consists of the buying and selling of specific products or services over electronic systems such as the internet. The amount of products and services conducted electronically has grown to a huge extent since the spread of the internet. Most of the ecommerce we see over the internet is internet marketing, online transaction processing, automated data collection systems, and electronic data exchange. The World Wide Web is used at some point or another in the transaction although it can endure a broader range of technologies, often known as e-mail.

There are two types of electronic commerce conducted via the internet today, and they are business-to-business or business-to-consumer. A large percentage of e-commerce is done entirely for virtual items, such as access to premium content on an interested website. But, usually e-commerce involves some sort of transportation of the physical items in some way or another. Big sites like Amazon.com, and Google.com are able to use ecommerce so effectively that the corporations generate millions of dollars each and every year.

Now most people don't have the money to get something started up like that of Amazon. And, we also don't have the time.
